Our Story
Once upon a time, in the heartwarming discussion of an online book club known as @diskusi.buku, Ismail and Nadira met. Ismail, a hardworking man with a soft side, loved British pop music dan magical realism novels. Nadira, a spirited soul, was drawn to trap music and dystopian tales. Despite their first meeting leaving only a little impression, fate had a beautiful plan for them.
Three years later, they found themselves in the bustling heart of London. Ismail studied Business Analytics at Warwick Business School, while Nadira explored the mysteries of the human brain at UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology. Their connection began with a simple Instagram message, but it was beneath the twinkling lights of Covent Garden that their bond deepened, as if destiny had been guiding them all along.
This is the tale of Ismail Faruqi and Nadira Deanda Putri, a love story sparked in an online book club and ignited in the heart of London. They invite you to witness the next chapter of their journey and to contribute to their shared passion for literacy by bringing a book to their wedding reception. Each book will be donated to rural areas in Indonesia through @donasi_bukukita. So, gather your books and together, let us spread the magic of love and literature.
